We all know about Sir Issac Newton and the gravity that comes along with him.Its Mr.newton who invented the Integral calculus.He took 14 years in devising this integral calculus.So whats my story here???Yes it comes now.
Not many of us know about "Diamond", Sir Issac Newton's favorite dog.On the eve of the grandest finale of all i.e.,the publishing of his masterpiece Newton wanted to take his time off by getting to a church nearby.He had piled his materials on a table and a lighted candle was made a security guard to protect it.Poor Diamond did not know this and there came a knock with its tail to the candle,"Integral calculus in flames".
Then Newton had to spend another 14 years to recreate this integration and this time he wanted to bring Diamond into the game which had played a skeptical role in the 1st part.So since it was the tail of Diamond that burnt the integral calculus Newton made Diamond's tail the symbol for integration.
Imagine Newton wasted 14 precious years of his life.What if he had spent that time for devising something else...................
